Our Honoree Eleanor Kramer

Golda Och Academy will be honoring Eleanor Kramer for her extraordinary commitment and service to our school over the past 16 years. Since her oldest daughter Arielle started in Kindergarten 16 years ago, Eleanor has dedicated her tremendous talents to serving our school in a multitude of volunteer roles from Ad Journal Co-Chair to President of our Board of Trustees, to current Co-Chair of the Building on Tradition campaign. In addition to all of her extensive efforts on behalf of the school, Eleanor has also contributed to the greater Jewish community serving as a Board Member of Jewish Community Foundation of MetroWest, Women’s Philanthropy, Jewish Family Service, Israel Bonds, and as a Wexner Heritage Fellow. Joining her is husband Marc Kramer who has provided countless hours of volunteer service to our school as Building Committee Chair and as a Trustee of our Foundation. Eleanor and Marc are the proud parents of three wonderful daughters, Arielle, Class of 2008, Naomi, Class of 2010, and Rachel in 8th grade.

Marc Schwartz: Distinguished Volunteer Service Award Recipient

We are honored to be presenting the Distinguished Volunteer Service Award to school leader and current parent Marc Schwartz, who has served as a member of our school’s Board of Trustees for the past nine years and as Chair of our school’s Shomrei Torah Annual Campaign for the past eight years. During Marc’s time as a parent volunteer at our school, he has exemplified the values of leadership and tzedakah in his work on behalf of our school for Shomrei Torah - our school’s largest annual fundraising effort. Marc and his wife Margot are the parents of Andrew, a current 8th grader.
