WOMEN’S LEAGUE CONVENTION 2010
December 12-15, 2010
Marriott Waterfront Baltimore
Every two years, members of Women’s League for Conservative Judaism gather for four days of outstanding speakers and leading scholars, inspiring services, valuable workshops, participatory arts studio and chorus, training and leadership development, region meetings and parties.
This year’s convention, on the beautiful Baltimore harbor, promises to be better than ever!
There will be several opportunities to address the theme of Kehillah Kedoshah - Celebrating Community Woman to Woman, including an incomparable Vashti’s Banquet, unlike any party you’ve ever seen, hands-on interactive drop-ins to experience Women’s League programs in action, and innovative workshops designed both for personal fulfillment and to help make our sisterhoods grow and prosper.
Books for Baltimore: Building a Community of Readers One Child at a Time will put reading books into the hands of every third grader and pre-kindergartener in the Baltimore City Public Schools! Sisterhoods will receive the new Jewel in the Crown Award for their commitment, excellence and creativity in programming. The next president and officers of Women’s League will be installed; important resolutions will be voted on; and there will be fabulous shopping with over 50 vendors, delicious food and great camaraderie.
