Rachel Chafetz
 
Rachel Chafetz is an Israeli American who came to the United States in 1994, and who has distinguished herself as an active and dedicated leader in many Jewish organizations.  She currently holds the leadership position Co-Chair of the Boston IAC Council, and Campaign Chair for CJP Women Philanthropy.  She is also a member of the IAC National Board.   Rachel currently serves on the Board of Combined Jewish Philanthropy (CJP), Boston FIDF and is an active member of FIDF and AIPAC.  She was formerly a board member of the JCC and the Bureau of Jewish Education, and served as the president of Gateways: Access to Jewish Education. Rachel has the honor of having been chosen to be part of CJP’s cohort of ACHARAI, its premier leadership training program, and was honored with the Chai at the Hub award for 2016.
 
Though Rachel’s work is in a volunteer capacity, she does hold a professional MA degree in Jewish Education from Hebrew College, as well as a Certificate in Special Education.  She lives in Newton with her husband Larry, and together they are raising their three children Daniel, Tal and Ben.
 
 
 
Ilan Segev
 
Ilan Segev is an Executive Director with the Private Wealth Management group at Morgan Stanley. Prior to his work in the financial services Ilan served as a career diplomat for the State of Israel. His first mission was in the Trade Representative Office in Doha, Qatar. Following that, Ilan was stationed at the Consulate General of Israel in Atlanta as the State of Israel's second highest ranking diplomat to the southeastern United States. 
 
Ilan is married to Shiri Segev and they are the parents of three boys. They are both active members of the Jewish community. Ilan served for 6 years on the Board of Trustees of JCDS and he was also on the Boards of Trustees of Kehillah Schechter Academy and the New England Israel Business Council. He is currently on the Board of Trustees of the Landmark School and the Board of Overseers of Newton-Wellesley Hospital.  Following his service as an officer in the Israeli Defense Forces Ilan received his Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Far East Studies from Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Later he received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
