Benjamin Bendit Family Award:
Lenny Krayzelburg
 
Four-time Olympic gold medalist Lenny Krayzelburg has competed in many arenas, including the World Maccabiah Games, fulfilling his personal dream of visiting Israel.  He ‘s been inducted into the Southern California Jewish Sports Hall of Fame, USC Hall of Fame, The International Jewish Hall of Fame and The International Swimming Hall of Fame.  The Lenny Krayzelburg swim camp has been a significant part of NJY Camps TSC program since its inception. His swim academy is an official signature program of JCCA.  Along with his Foundation, he is an active supporter of the Jessie Rees Foundation, treasurer of Michael Phelps Foundation,
and a board member of Tikva Children’s Home.
 
 
 
Harry S Feller Award:
David and Marian Rocker
 
Believers in the impact of Jewish camp, David and Marian Rocker have generously supported families in need.  David, Founder of Rocker Partners LLC, has served as vice president of the JCC MetroWest and chairman of the Securities and the Achim divisions of the Jewish Community Federation.  Marian, founder and owner of Traditions, a Judaica Gallery, has chaired the Jewish Federation of MetroWest’s major gifts division of Women’s Philanthropy and the general campaign. She has served on the boards of National Foundation of Jewish Culture, Daughters of Israel and chaired the resettlement of 538 Soviet families in MetroWest.
 
 
 
The Honorable Herbert & Jacqueline Klein Award:
Jonathan and Rabbi Paula Mack Drill
 
Jonathan and Paula are part of many generations of Drills involved with NJY Camps. Jon, partner in the firm Stickel, Koenig, Sullivan & Drill, is a past president of NJY Camps and still actively serving on its Board.  He is co-author of the book “New Jersey Zoning and Land Use Administration.”  Paula, one of two rabbis at the Orangetown Jewish Center, has been involved with staff training at NJY Camps. Her passions include issues of social justice and disability inclusion. Jon and Paula are the proud parents of six children, Noah and his wife of almost three months Rochelle, Sarah and her husband Sagi, Ben, and Josh. Noah, Sarah, Ben and Josh were all NJY Campers.
