Its been quite the journey from our days in the Har Torah classroom. I have watched
with admiration (and, admittedly, pride) as you have tackled each step with grace
and determination and am honored to call you a dear friend and colleague.

Twenty three years ago this month, you made a phone call that forever changed the landscape
of Jewish summer camping. Together with Ruvan, Jonathan and Jackie,
you and your beloved son, Nathaniel OB"M, opened the door of acceptance and inclusion
in a way that could never be done before. As a personal bonus, along the way, I was privileged
to have you and your crew become my extended family. Its amazing how much
can be accomplished over a bagel and full-fat cream cheese!
