Dear Friends,

We hope this finds you and your family safe and healthy.

It is with pride and excitement that we announce Temple B’nai Abraham’s first ever Virtual Gala, which will take place Saturday, June 20 and will honor our beloved Rabbi Faith Joy Dantowitz. We will send details about how to “attend” our Gala soon. But call off the search for the right outfit for the evening – you can “join us” in your pajamas if you’d like!

As you know, Rabbi Dantowitz will be leaving us at the end of June to join her husband in California. She will become the rabbi of Congregation Emeth in Morgan Hill, California. To honor her and show our appreciation for her ten years of devoted and inspiring service to TBA, we are creating a virtual ad journal. Our virtual journal will read much like the paper journals we have distributed at past Galas, but it is even better, for a few reasons:

  • We don’t have to wait until the evening of the Gala to see it – it is live now!
  • Ads will appear as they are submitted. If you submit your ad now, it will be viewable and cherished by Rabbi Dantowitz for weeks before the Gala.
  • The journal will appear in full color, so feel free to submit color artwork with your ad.
  • Anyone can view the ad journal at any time from any device, and it will also be displayed the evening of the Gala.

This is our biggest TBA fundraiser of the year, and our Gala, as always, will provide critical support for our Temple and all its endeavors. All donations, large and small, will be appreciated. And we know that Rabbi Dantowitz will cherish the ad journal tributes and well wishes forever.

We look forward to seeing your contribution to our ad journal, and to seeing you at our Virtual Gala on June 20!

Warmly,
