Congratulations on being honoured by the JEC - Thank you for helping this great school.
Three score years ago Rabbi Pinchas M. Teitz brought forth in this State, a new Yeshiva, conceived with an idea, and dedicated to the proposition that all children should have a Jewish education.
Now we are looking back, testing whether our Yeshiva, or any Yeshiva so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are blessed with knowledgable Rabbeim and an intelligent staff. They come dedicating a portion of their lives so that our children will thrive.
It is altogether fitting and proper that we should acknowledge and thank them.
But, in a larger sense, we can not thank enough -- we can not measure enough-- we can not appreciate enough – what these teachers do on a daily basis. A vision that Harav Teitz had -blossomed into an elementary school, a Mesivta, a Bruriah. The world will little note, nor long remember what he started for American Jewry, but we never forget. It is for us the parents, rather, to appreciate the generations of teachers that have taught generations of students. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great concept remaining before us – that the Jewish Educational Center is indeed an extended family devoted to that cause for which Rabbi Teitz and his children are so devoted to -- that we here highly resolve that this insitution, under God, shall have many more years of hatzlacha -- and that the love of Torah and well rounded education given to our children, by our wonderful staff, for the future of Klal Yisrael, shall not perish from the earth
