Jerry Bruno 
Strategic Project Manager, City of New York Department of Homeless Services
 
Jerry Bruno is the Strategic Project Manager in the Department of Homeless Services where he is responsible for advising on the DHS strategic plan and managing high-level collaborative initiatives such as ThriveNYC.
 
Originally from Miramar, Florida, Jerry graduated from the University of Florida with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Public Leadership. In his off hours, Jerry loves travel, pretends to be a food critic and is an avid lover of Batman movies.
 
 
 
 

Rachel L. Colon
LCSW, Primary Care Social Work Coordinator, Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center

Rachel Colon, LCSW has been working at the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center since February 2015.  She received a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a Masters of Social Work from Fordham University’s Graduate Program of Social Service.  As the Primary Care Social Work Coordinator, Ms. Colon provides individual short term counseling to young people with mental health concerns and complex trauma histories, and coordinates health education services.  Ms. Colon also provides supervision to social work students and psychology interns who rotate through the primary care clinic.
 

 
Raja M. Flores
MD, Steven and Ann Ames Professor, and Chairman Department of Thoracic Surgery, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai
 
Raja Flores is a world-renowned thoracic surgeon known for his technical skill and life-long work on lung and esophageal cancer, mesothelioma and asbestos-related diseases. His research has produced over 200 publications, and he is the Principal Investigator of a 4.8 million dollar RO1 grant to study the effect of asbestos contamination in the town of Libby, Montana. He was educated at NYU, Einstein, Columbia, and Harvard. He is Professor and founding Chairman of the Department of Thoracic Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in NYC. 

 
 

Yasmeen Mock
Head of Client Relations & COO, Kimelman & Baird, LLC
 
Yasmeen Mock is a Partner, Head of Client Relations and Chief Operating Officer at Kimelman & Baird, LLC, a Registered Investment Advisor and Broker Dealer in New York City.  She is involved in all operational facets of the business, leads the client service team and manages the implementation of the investment committee decisions.  Yasmeen is Co-Chair of the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center Junior Board and serves on the Finance Committee of Lifeway Network. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from New York University.  In her spare time, Yasmeen enjoys bike riding and tap dancing.
 

 

Lisa M. Satlin
MD, Herbert H. Lehman Professor, and System Chair, Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai
 
Dr. Satlin received her MD from Columbia University. where she completed a pediatrics residency before nephrology fellowship training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In 1997, she was recruited to Mount Sinai as Chief of Pediatric Nephrology and was appointed Chair of Pediatrics in March 2010. She has held leadership positions in the American Societies of Nephrology and Pediatric Nephrology and is a member of the Society for Pediatric Research, the American Pediatric Society, and the Association of American Physicians. 
 
 
 

Patricia Wang
President and Chief Executive Officer, Healthfirst
 
Pat Wang has been president and CEO of Healthfirst since 2008. Her tenure at Healthfirst has been marked by significant quality improvement as well as growth in both revenue and membership, and today the company is the largest not-for-profit health insurer in New York by revenue.  Ms. Wang leads more than 4,500 dedicated employees responsible for providing health insurance to more than 1.4 million New Yorkers.  She serves on the Board of Directors of America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) and as a commissioner on the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC), which advises the U.S. Congress on Medicare payment policy.  She is also a trustee of the Citizens Budget Commission, a non-partisan, non-profit civic organization focused on the well-being of future New Yorkers.
